ORaCEL Graduate Student Samuel Stuard has been Awarded a 2 year Fellowship Through NRT

Second-year graduate student Samuel Stuard has been awarded a 2 year fellowship through a new National Science Foundation Research Traineeship (NRT) at NCSU. The Data-Enabled Science and Engineering of Atomic Structure (SEAS) NRT is a program to bring physicists, materials scientists, mathematicians, statisticians, and computation experts together to address the large amounts of data involved in the study of atomic structure and material morphology. The graduate fellows will engage in interdisciplinary trainings and discussions as well as professional development and networking. Sam is a member of the Harald Ade group in the Department of Physics, NCSU. This research group, as a part of the Organic and Carbon Electronics Labs (ORaCEL) at NCSU, specifically works on scattering experiments to understand the structure of organic solar cells.
