Prof. Felix Castellano is Elected AAAS Fellow

Prof. Felix Castellano is elected AAAS 2020 Fellows. Election as a Fellow honors members whose efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications in service to society have distinguished them among their peers and colleagues.

Prof. Castellano is a Goodnight Innovation Distinguished Chair in the Department of Chemistry and co-director of the Organic and Carbon Electronics Cluster. His efforts were recognized for distinguished contributions to the fields of solar energy conversion, photochemistry and photophysics, particularly for developing photochemical upconversion and strategies for manipulating excited state behavior
